Nuremberg, the city ‘under the sign of the castle’ – what it really means is a double castle, consisting of the Kaiserburg and the Burggrafenburg – the city’s landmarks. It is located on Nuremberg’s ‘Historic Mile’ and is part of the fortifications that enclose the old town.
