Apolda is a town in Thuringia, located on the Ilm River and about 20 km northeast of Weimar. Its history dates back to the 8th century, when the town was first mentioned.

Among the sights are Apolda Castle, which is now acultural centre and the town museum, there is also the Apolda Avantgarde Art Museum.

Apolda’s more than 250 years of bell-founding tradition have made the town known beyond the region as a bell city. The annual Apolda Onion Market is one of the largest public festivals in Thuringia.

Situated in the center of Apolda, our house is a wonderful base from which to explore the region either on foot or by bicycle. My team will be happy to show you the possibilities and advise you on events and exhibitions taking place.

With over 100 rooms and corresponding restaurant and conference room capacities, our house is suitable for individual overnight stays as well as for family celebrations and group events.
In summer you can end the day with a delicious cold drink on our terrace.
