Würzburg – a student city with the oldest university in Bavaria, UNESCO World Heritage City and with its location on the Main River, one of the most renowned wine-growing regions in Germany.

Wineries such as the Juliusspital, the Bürgerspital zum Heiligen Geist and the Staatliche Hofkeller is located here.

Walk through the old town of Würzburg with its many churches, including the Würzburg Cathedral, or cycle along the Main Cycle Path. There is so much to see, discover and enjoy! Now run by our fifth generation, the Hotel Strauss, located directly on the Juliuspromenade, is within walking distance of the Main River and the Old Main Bridge, and is the perfect starting point.
