When you think of Wolfsburg, Volkswagen is probably one of the first words that comes to mind. The car brand is synonymous with the city and carries its name, not least through its own team, the VFL Wolfsburg. But the city has more to offer: Shopping at the Designer Outlets Wolfsburg, art enjoyment offered by the Volkswagen Foundation in the art museum with contemporary and modern art.

Design enthusiasts will not want to miss the Alvar Alto Kulturhaus. Fun for the whole family is the Phaeno, an interactive science museum with more than over 250 experiment stations. More than a handful of good reasons to get to know Wolfsburg better!

In 1942 the hotel opened under the name Hotel Steimkerberg. In 2005 it was reconstructed and was thoroughly renovated by 2006.

Today’s Parkhotel is situated in a wonderfully quiet location directly on the Steimkerberg forest area, which invites to inviting walks and jogging tours!
The view from the terrace and from the restaurant ‘Seasons’ goes directly into the green – it is so beautiful to observe the seasons from there.
